My Approach
I have been providing counseling services since 1992. After graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), I completed a two-year post-graduate internship at the Christian Family Institute with an emphasis on Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, and Family System’s Theory. I am also a Self-Leadership Coach (Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Accelerating Coach Excellence Certified Coach, and a Certified Red Team Coach.
I am a pastor as well as a therapist. I want to seek first to understand your situation then offer my conclusions. To quickly build trust, I focus on what's most important to you. This way, we use our time wisely and achieve the best results. By doing this, I make sure every minute is valuable and productive, making our work together both efficient and impactful.
Counseling clients can expect to leave our sessions feeling deeply understood and connected. Together, we’ll focus on the issues that matter most to you, ensuring every moment we spend is valuable and impactful. You’ll gain powerful insights and motivation to tackle the core concerns affecting your well-being. By the end of our sessions, you’ll have a strong commitment to action, strategies for continuous growth, and enhanced resilience and adaptability. Our work together will be transformative, making a meaningful difference in your life.
